It’s old news, but if you haven’t seen it, you must. I have to share this. It’s unreal.
At the the White House Correspondant dinner in 2006, something really good happened. A really well-spoken, funny and convincing impersonator, Stephen Colbert, took the piss out of President Bush, for very long and he made it very, very painfull. Please enjoy 😉
There’s a complete version available at Google Video.
Stephen Colbert during his great speech
ps: I’ve posted a Youtube versions of the speech in three parts, but they now return the message ‘ This video has been removed due to terms of use violation.’ … right. Whatever, the word’s out anyways.

Um… I don’t think Bush was “embarrassed”. He generally plays along and has a great time with these people. The audience enjoys his antics just as much as his impersonators’.

He sure looks looks like a cat in a corner to me!
Stephen Colbert is saying it all: all he thinks comes out, but the way he does is só smart, that Bush cannot do anything back or walk out. I’m quite sure that this appearance wouldn’t have been approved, if Bush’s spin doctors would have known what it would be like. I’m very happy nobody has ever made such a sketch about me in public, it sure would humiliate me. But then again, I’m not involved in any wars.
